Class Experience

Our Teen/Adult Beginner 2 Class is our second part of Adult Beginner Sewing. This course is 8 weeks and will build on the sewing skills. Each project will teach you more techniques and build your confidence in sewing.

Here are the projects we will make during your 8-week class.

  • Eyeglass/ Sunglass Case
  • Decorative Envelope Pillow
  • Lined Boxy Zipper Pouch
  • 6 Pocket Tote (2 weeks)*
  • Country Apron (3 weeks)*

* Supplies not included

6 Pocket Tote Supplies: (Quilters cotton only)

  • 1/2 Yards of fabric (Lining & Pocket)
  • 1/2 Yards of fabric (Exterior & Straps)
  • 1 yards Pellon 808 or 809

Country Apron Supplies: (Quilters cotton only)

  • 2 Yards of fabric (Apron bodice, skirt, and top ruffle)
  • 3 Yards of fabric (for bottom ruffle, ties, and band)
  • 8 yards double fold bias tape for trim

    Class Requirements

    • Adult Beginner 1 or basic sewing machine operations. Thread a needle, wind a bobbin

    Cancellation Policy
    • 2 or more weeks from the start date, Full refund minus 7% processing fee.
    • Less than 2 weeks from the start date, 50% refund minus 7% processing fee or Full account credit.
    • Less than 1 week from the start date, No credit or refund will be offered.

    What To Bring

    • 2 yards of lining fabric and 3 yards of outer fabric for Country Apron
    • 1 5/8 yard of fabric and 9-12" multipurpose zipper for Simple Skirt (No stretchy, silky, or sheer fabrics please)
